- Bengaluru (BLR) — inaugural route via Lucknow
- Hyderabad (HYD)
- Jaipur (JAI)
- Chandigarh (IXC)
- Srinagar (SXR)
- Amritsar (ATQ)
- Jammu (IXJ)
- Pantnagar (PGH)
- Lucknow (LKO)
- Goa (GOI), Kochi (COK), Kolkata (CCU), Chennai (MAA), Mumbai (BOM), Pune (PNQ), Ahmedabad (AMD) — phased addition over June-July
The first scheduled flights are 6E 2278 / 6E 2279 on the Lucknow-Noida-Bengaluru routing on 15 June. From 16 June, IndiGo adds Bengaluru-Noida-Jammu, and from 1 July, more routes including additional metros.
Akasa Air and Air India Express are confirmed launch carriers but have not yet published their full route lists — expect inventory to load over the coming weeks.

DXN vs IGI Delhi: which one should you fly from?
The honest answer depends on where you're travelling from in the NCR — and the fare difference on your specific route.
Fly from DXN if you're based in:
- Noida, Greater Noida, Ghaziabad — DXN is significantly closer than IGI
- Faridabad, parts of South Delhi (via Yamuna Expressway)
- Western UP cities — Aligarh, Meerut, Bulandshahr, Mathura, Agra
Stick with IGI (DEL) if you're based in:
- Gurugram, Dwarka, West Delhi, North Delhi — IGI is much closer
- Anywhere on the Delhi Metro Airport Express line
- If your destination only flies from DEL (international long-haul, most ME/Europe routes — at least initially)
Look at the fare gap
In the first 3-6 months, expect DXN fares to undercut IGI by 8-20% on overlapping routes. Airlines typically discount inaugural routes to fill seats and build awareness. By Q4 2026, expect the gap to narrow as demand normalises.
Getting to Noida Airport
Connectivity is being rolled out alongside the airport opening:
- Yamuna Expressway — the primary road link from Delhi/Noida; ~75-110 minutes from central Delhi by car (depending on traffic)
- Greater Noida electric bus network — feeder buses being launched alongside opening
- Cab/auto from Noida City Centre Metro — ~₹1,200-1,800 by car, 60-75 min
- Rapid Rail (planned) — connection from Delhi via the RRTS network in later phases (post-2027)
- Metro link — proposed but not operational at launch
For the first few months, plan to drive or take a cab. Add 30-45 extra minutes vs your usual IGI commute time if you're starting from West/North Delhi.
What to expect in opening weeks (16 June - 14 July)
New airports always have teething issues. Based on patterns from BLR Terminal 2, MAA Terminal 1 reopening, and global precedent:
- Baggage handling will be slower than mature airports for the first 2-3 weeks. Add 15-20 min to retrieval expectations.
- F&B options will be limited at launch. Carry your own snacks for the first month.
- Last-minute gate changes more likely as schedulers tune the operations
- Wayfinding will be confusing — signage and staff training is week-by-week
- Cab access can be chaotic for the first 2 weeks; pre-book or use Ola/Uber Outstation for guaranteed pickup
Should you book early DXN flights or wait?
For inaugural-period travel (15 June to mid-July), there are two competing forces:
- For: airlines often discount opening flights to drive bookings and PR — fares may be unusually low
- Against: first-month flights of a new airport sometimes face teething issues — gate changes, baggage delays, longer security queues
Our practical advice: if your trip is flexible, book mid-July onwards. If you're testing the airport for a non-critical trip, the inaugural fares are genuinely worth grabbing.
What this means for last-minute flights
Adding DXN to the NCR airport pool effectively doubles seat capacity on overlapping routes. For last-minute flyers, this is excellent news:
- More inventory = less brutal surge pricing on day-of bookings to/from Delhi
- If IGI is sold out for your day, DXN gives you a second option
- Routes like DEL-BLR, DEL-HYD will become genuinely price-competitive
